The filing fee is $250 USD per class. This includes all INAPI official fees and full attorney fees. A success fee of $200 USD per class is due only when your trademark is officially granted. A 5% international transfer fee applies to all payments. We accept PayPal.

The Process

The Nice Classification is an international system that organizes goods and services into 45 classes. You must register your trademark in the specific class that covers your products or services. We can advise you on which classes you need.

Yes. Each class is a separate application with its own filing fee of $250 USD. Many clients register in 2 to 3 classes to fully protect their brand.

Yes. Chile has one of the most stable and transparent intellectual property systems in Latin America. It is a member of the Paris Convention, the TRIPS Agreement, and the Madrid Protocol. A registered trademark in Chile gives you exclusive rights for 10 years, renewable indefinitely.

Yes. Trademark rights are territorial. Your US or European registration does not protect you in Chile. You must file a separate application with INAPI to have enforceable rights in Chile.
